Avoid continually putting extras into and on top of what’s already in the golf bag pockets. If the zipper doesn’t slide straight up and down, then there is far too much inside the pocket.
Don’t have the rain hood connected to the top of the bag, unless you need it because it’s raining. Leaving the hood connected to the bag when the bag is on a buggy, will damage the fabric and possibly the connection studs.
Avoid purchasing a bag that has colours which are a lighter shade. There can be a tendency for these colours to fade prematurely.
When travelling on an aircraft, make sure you put the golf bag into a coverall which is padded and can be locked.
